For now, this is a limited release. The ballasts are considered “engineering prototypes” and marked as such. They have been thoroughly in Sunlight's lighting test center and performed better than expectations. The next step is this release to the industry in small quantities for testing in a variety of different growing environments and conditions. Please be aware this ballast will only operate on 240 volt power.

Sunlight Supply is doing a very limited release of a brand new technology! This 1500 watt HPS lamp is an engineering prototype. It can only be driven by a 1500 watt Master Blaster electronic ballast. Our initial release is limited to 350 lamp and ballast pairs. We have tested this product thoroughly in our lighting test center and it has preformed better than our expectations. We are now ready to move into phase 2 of our development process. This is a release to the industry in small quantities for testing in a variety of different growing environments and conditions.
